Cottonwood Archaeology was founded by Principal Investigator Hannah Russell, a Registered Professional Archaeologist (RPA) who meets the Secretary of Interior Standards and Guidelines for Archaeology and Historic Preservation (36 CFR 61). Ms. Russell has over a decade of experience in contract, academic, government, and research-based archaeologies in urban, rural, backcountry, and industrial environmental settings throughout the United States. Ms. Russell's archaeological experience is predominantly concentrated in the West, with eight years of experience in Utah.  Ms. Russell maintains exceptional

relationships with regulatory agency personnel, which helps our projects efficiently move through the Section 106 compliance process.
